Overview

Join us as we dive headlong into the glorious culture that makes rugby the world's finest sport and the 6 Nations quite possibly the world's most passionate sporting event. We will visit 2 of Europe's most wonderful capital cities and midweek in a medieval walled city which boasts the largest gothic cathedral in the world. This tour would not be complete without some rugby, so we will attend the Scotland v Wales and Wales v England matches at Murrayfield and Principality stadiums respectively. Happy Days!

Highlights

Edinburgh

Edinburgh

With an abundance of history, top quality attractions and beautiful architecture, Edinburgh is an incredible capital city. Spend your time here at unforgettable historic sites, lively pubs, and incredible cafes and restaurants. Scotland's capital is one of the most unique and memorable cities in Europe. Edinburgh has a rare charm with narrow and cobbled passageways, called closes in Scots. The town is also known for its majestic buildings and gardens, countless fascinating museums, which are free to visit, and, especially, the city's kind and open locals. All the above-mentioned make this city a favorite among those who have seen it. We will be there on an international rugby weekend, which brings its own very special vibe. Be ready for some fun in Scotland's beautiful capital city.

York

York

Historic York is loaded with world-class sights — it seems like everything that's great about Britain finds its best expression in this manageable town. Marvel at the York Minster, England's finest Gothic church. Ramble The Shambles, York's wonderfully preserved medieval quarter. Enjoy a walking tour led by an old Yorker. Hop a train at one of the world's greatest railway museums, travel to the 1800s in the York Castle Museum, head back 1,000 years to Viking times at the Jorvik Viking Centre, or dig into the city's buried past at the Yorkshire Museum. Yet York is more than the sum of its parts. With its strollable cobbles and half-timbered buildings, grand cathedral and excellent museums, thriving restaurant scene and welcoming locals, York delights.

Cardiff

Cardiff

Cardiff, the capital city of Wales, is a great destination. Wales was voted one of the world's top 10 must-visit countries by Rough Guides and Lonely Planet, while Cardiff came out as one of Europe's best capital cities to live in. What makes Cardiff so special is its mix of old and new culture, its vibrant food scene, its major events, in 80,000 seat Principality Stadium right in the heart of the city and the beautiful countryside on its doorstep. Enjoy.

Rugby

Rugby

The Six Nations Championship is arguably rugby union's biggest and most prestigious tournament and is held annually from February to March. It is contested by six of the northern hemisphere's finest rugby nations: England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland & Wales whose fan base bring an amazing festive attitude to every match. Nothing quite matches the atmosphere at a 6 Nations Rugby Match regardless of the sport or venue.

Comraderie

Comraderie

Rugby provides a unifying spirit that leads to life-long friendships, camaraderie, teamwork and loyalty which transcends cultural, geographic, political and religious differences. This is epitomized by the gathering of the fans and faithful of rival nations in unison for every game of the 6 Nations Tournament, and the joy, laughter and song spread through each of the host cities. Come be a part of what makes rugby so special and enjoy some amazing action and banter.
